All things considered, and particularly as three of their bowlers conceded at 14.00+ runs per over, West Indies Masters produced a brilliant performance with the bat to get over the line with four balls remaining against Australia Masters.
There are clear areas of improvement with the ball ahead of this game although Ravi Rampaul (2/23 from four overs) and Ashley Nurse (3/16 from three overs) can both hold their head’s up high with their efforts.
Sullieman Benn conceded 48 runs from three wicketless overs so we expect him to bowl quicker and with less flight in this match.
With the bat, Lendl Simmons was the star, hitting 94 not out from 44 balls, although Dwayne Smith was also key with 51 runs from 29 balls.

England Masters Preview
With their compatriots also struggling in white ball cricket at the moment, and losing their opening game at the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy, the England Masters side were unable to provide a much needed nostalgia boost for supporters of English cricket as they were blown away by the hosts, India Masters, on Tuesday evening.
Pretty much everything went wrong for England Masters who were able to post 132/8 batting first and Darren Maddy top scoring with 25 runs from 24 balls. And with Tim Bresnan batting at number five, this side does not look strong enough with the bat.
Chris Schofield was the only member of the bowling attack to pick up a wicket although Chris Tremlett and Monty Panesar both impressed with their economy rates.
England Masters need to be sharper in the field and their top four need to deliver with the bat for them to be competitive.
